Jenny Hutchinson is from Upstate New York at the foot of the Adirondack Mountains. Her private studio space is located at her home in Glens Falls, NY where she and her husband have been renovating a 100 year old barn to become a future workspace.
Jenny received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Clemson University and Bachelor of Fine Arts from Plattsburgh State University.
In addition to her profession as a visual artist, Jenny is a experienced arts administrator having spent a decade working for not for profit arts organizations. She is an advocate for the arts in her community devoted to creating art experiences and opportunities for all ages. She specializes in exhibition curation, arts program design, and education.
Her recent accolades include a feature on the regional PBS television station WMHT’s program AHA! House for the Arts, a feature on the regional National Public Radio station NCPR’s program “North Country at Work”, and she was invited as a guest speaker at her undergraduate alma mater SUNY Plattsburgh.
