About
Jenny Hutchinson is from Upstate New York at the foot of the Adirondack Mountains. Her private studio space is located at her home in Glens Falls, NY where she and her husband have renovated a 100 year old barn into an art studio, office, and woodshop.
Jenny received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Clemson University and Bachelor of Fine Arts from Plattsburgh State University.
In addition to her profession as a visual artist, Jenny is a grants administrator and arts consultant, continuing her career as a former arts administrator and educator. She is an advocate for the arts in her community devoted to creating art experiences and opportunities for all ages. She specializes in grants, exhibition curation, arts education and program design, outreach, and marketing.
Her artwork has shown extensively throughout the NYS capital region, has been a part of national and statewide competitions, featured in Colored Pencil Magazine, on PBS WMHT’s program AHA! House for the Arts and her arts education work featured on National Public Radio station NCPR’s program “North Country at Work”.
